This policy explains how Shanmukha Caterers collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us when you enquire, book an event, or place a product order.
When you enquire, book an event, place a bulk product order, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, delivery/event address, and event or order details (guest count, menu preferences, quantities). For account access on our customer portal, we use your phone number to send a WhatsApp login code.
We use your details to confirm bookings and orders, plan and deliver your event or shipment, send WhatsApp/SMS/email updates (order confirmations, payment requests, delivery tracking), and respond to enquiries. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to serving you as a customer or vendor.
Online payments are processed through our payment gateway partner (Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details on our own servers — these are handled directly and securely by the payment gateway under its own security standards.
We use WhatsApp Business messaging to send booking confirmations, payment requests, delivery updates, and respond to your enquiries. You can ask us at any time to stop non-essential WhatsApp communication by messaging us directly.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Information is shared only where necessary to fulfil your order — for example, with our delivery/courier partners for bulk product shipments, or our payment gateway for processing payments.
We retain your booking, order, and contact information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet legal/tax obligations.
You can request a correction to your stored details, or ask what information we hold about you, by contacting us through the Contact Us page or WhatsApp.
We may update this policy from time to time as our services evolve. The version in effect at the time of your booking or order governs that transaction.
